Epson printhead cleaning

Hello,

For several years I have owned an Epson Stylus SX215 printer and almost every time I want to print I have to clean the print heads. Moreover, the cartridges are not empty and yet I have to change them already.

    Epson is under a preliminary investigation opened in November 2025 by the Nanterre public prosecutor's office for "planned obsolescence" and "deception," notably regarding cartridges declared empty when they still contain 20 to 40% ink, and printer models (L360, L130, L220, L310, L365) becoming unusable after the cartridges are depleted.

      Ink cartridges are made for a certain number of pages

      when the number is reached the cartridge no longer prints

      this is what they call " planned obsolescence "
