Very slow laptop!!!

Hello,

I just acquired a new Acer PC running Windows 10, and I find it really, really slow!!

It takes almost 2 minutes to turn on, and then almost the same amount of time to launch Mozilla, which I had a hard time setting as the default browser.....!!

I have only installed F-secure. Could the problem be coming from there?

What could be slowing it down to this extent when there's nothing on it yet.......?

I need your valuable advice. Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 60.0

    You have programs that were installed when you purchased the computer or installed later that might not be useful.
    They clutter Windows and can slow it down.
    You can therefore uninstall them.
    Go to the Control Panel
    then Programs and Features.
    Uninstall:

    App Explorer
    CCleaner

    If the slowdowns occur after installing Darty Security, etc.
    Uninstall all of that.
    If the speed returns, it indeed comes from these programs.
