Hello, I am a student in PC and network maintenance, and I need to diagnose an Acer N15W1 laptop that, when turned on, displays the Acer startup logo and then crashes (blue screen).
My first hypothesis is that the hard drive is corrupted, so I attempted a Windows reinstallation by booting the PC with the drive and inserted the Windows installation CD, but the result is almost identical, meaning it clearly says "press any key to boot with CD or DVD," something like that, but the boot doesn’t start when I press any key.
At that point, I thought it could either be the hard drive that is damaged, in which case it needs to be replaced, or the motherboard; I'm stuck at this stage. I had planned to use an IDE adapter and check if the disk worked when I connected it as an external hard drive to another machine, but my dad took my adapter... thanks, Dad...
So, that's all I can tell you. I hope you can help me; if you have any questions, feel free to ask too :)

Day 2:
Well, I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows using my Windows 10 Family CD. The PC boots normally at first glance, except that when I finish customizing Windows (connecting to Wi-Fi, enabling/disabling location, error reporting, etc.), the PC reboots and asks me the same things again.
I also noticed that the keyboard is defective (some keys do not work), but I think it's because I poorly reconnected the cables connecting the keyboard to the motherboard.
As for the reboot problem, I think the hard drive is simply faulty, but since I'm not sure, I don't really want to buy one just yet. So I will try to find a 2.5-inch one (preferably reformatable), but it's not going to be easy. In the meantime, if you could give me some guidance or solutions, I would definitely appreciate it. -
Well, the computer is working, I bought a hard drive, I installed it and it works, but the keyboard is not functioning properly and it's not the cables.
