Hello,
I have a Windows 7 tablet PC: the Acer Iconia Tab W500.
However, I have a problem and this persists even after 4 reinstalls: my touchscreen has a bug: as soon as I use it, the screen behaves as if I am repeatedly touching the bottom right corner until I turn off the PC.
Is there a solution to fix this issue?
(Drivers are up to date)
Thank you in advance.

Hello
If you're still having the touchscreen issue, just go to the Acer support site and download the fix in the downloads section. Go to the BIOS downloads, there is one, it's a firmware update, it's indicated
Good luck

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem with mine, after 2 returns to Darty’s customer service the issue is still unresolved. A Darty advisor told me that if the problem occurred a third time, they might consider an exchange of the laptop or a credit note, but it’s not certain.
At first, Darty told me it was a virus issue, then spyware, then a graphics card issue, and in the end, they did 2 complete restorations.
Unfortunately, I think that even doing more restorations, the problem will always be there; I believe it’s more of a defect with the laptop. Try to see with customer service if your laptop is still under warranty, so they can replace it for you.
Good luck.

no need to send it back for repair, you just need to download the patch from the acer support I marked above

Salut, peux-tu m'aider ?
