Hello,

The phone is no longer communicating with its base. Is there a button on the base that allows you to reconnect the base and the handset?

Hello there,

NO PANIC! Well, a little bit anyway...

If your Gigaset displays BASE or BASE blinking, try pressing the call button. If there's no sound or input, try dialing 3103 and press the green button.
If there's no sound and nothing happens, it means your Gigaset is not connected to its base.

Gigaset base: connected to your box, the stand where you place the phone to charge. So, if you don't hear any sound and your base is properly connected,
Let me know:

Name of your box network (Free, SFR, Orange, Bouygues...) Your plan (Free revolution, Livebox Play, SFR Starter, Bbox Ultym...)
And if you don't understand anything, let me know too! ;)

What model is this bigophone?
First, removing the batteries from the receiver and then putting them back in (be careful with the polarities) may be enough.
If not, you need to perform the manual pairing procedure described in the manual.

Surely you are right Bala, but personally I would have still tried ... just in case ...

Otherwise, there's the big game = factory reset but then you lose your contacts.

It's basically the same procedure on many Gigaset handsets.

In the user manual PDF of my device (A 510), apart from resetting the base, there isn't much information on this issue.
