Hello,

I am equipped with MacOS 10.7.7 Lion and my new printer requires OS 10.9

Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 6.1.6

    Hello,

    Maybe your Mac, whose specifications you didn’t provide, can upgrade to El Capitan (OS X 10.11), which is still available for download, while Mavericks (10.9) is no longer available.

      Mac from 2011 with serial number: CO2FFHHADHJF OS 10.07.05

      If there is no driver, am I therefore forced to change my configuration?
      The printer requires at least 10.7.9
      It works with the driver of the previous one (Epson) but in black and white only and I no longer have scanning.

      According to the manufacturer's website, there is no driver for OS X prior to 10.10:

      "Mac: OS X v10.12 Sierra, OS X v10.11 El Capitan, OS X v10.10 Yosemite, 1 GB of free disk space, Internet"

      So you have to upgrade to a higher OS version than the one you currently have.

      You can follow the advice given by Francis in this message, the process is the same, knowing that your iMac can run the latest Mac OS, but you can settle for El Capitan.

      However, you do not mention how much memory you have; if it is the original installed amount, you do not have enough; you need 8 GB for normal operation, otherwise the Mac will be sluggish.

      The type of module is: 204-pin PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM, so with 2 X 4 GB your iMac will be efficient.
