Hello,
I'm using Mac PSX 10.6
Once I loaded the "Canon CAPT Printer Driver" app, I can't find it in my applications folder. I don't know where it has been stored. I searched but found nothing.
In the "Printers and Faxes" function of "System Preferences," the downloaded app does not appear.
But where has it gone?
Thanks in advance for your responses,
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 5.1.9

Hello,
If you go to this page Canon Support and check the option at the bottom of the page that says "Download: I have read and understood the information above, and wish to download the designated software" (in other words: "I have read and understood the information above and I want to download the designated software"), a red download button will then appear: click it to download the software.
Your Mac will then download the file named "Mac_CAPT_V390_uk_EN.dmg" to the folder you specified in your web browser preferences. You can also search for the exact name of the downloaded file.
Once you find it, this file is a dmg file, which is a disk image. You need to right-click on it and choose "Open".
A window named "Mac_CAPT_V390_uk_EN" should open:
Double click the MacOSX folder: a "MacOSX" window should open:
Start the installation of your printer driver by double-clicking on "Canon_CAPT_Installer.pkg" and follow the instructions provided.
After this installation, open the menu "Apple->System Preferences... ->Printers and Scanners" to complete the setup of your printer.
