Plb to clean printer nozzles

There are now cleaning cartridges that allow you to clean the print heads of inkjet printers.

It's still quite rare, but I found this on the site arthurb.fr

Basically, these are cartridges with solvent inside that can dissolve dried ink.

Replace the 4 ink cartridges with the 4 cleaning cartridges and print an A4 photo.

Then wait 12 hours for the product to take effect.

Print an A4 photo once again.

Replace the cleaning cartridges with new ink cartridges.

It's simple and effective.

I just cleaned my Canon Pixma D6000 with perfect results. Here’s how I did it:
1) Bought isopropyl alcohol (1/2 L = €2.5) at Droguerie du Lion behind Place De Brouckère on Laeken street at the corner)
2) Removed the ink cartridges)
3) Covered the output of each cartridge with tape to prevent them from drying out)
4) Took a tray (approximately 4 cm deep)
5) With two fingers, removed the support on which the cartridges rested (Very easy to remove)
6) Poured alcohol into the tray (about 3 cm) so that I could immerse the print heads in the alcohol.
Using about ten cotton swabs, cleaned the small pads (1 cotton swab per pad) to avoid mixing the colors too much.
7) Swirled the cartridge support in the tray and let it soak for 48 hours
8) After 48 hours, removed the cartridge support from the alcohol, emptied the alcohol
outside (caution: flammable danger)
9) Added 3 cm of alcohol back into the tray
10) Repeated the cleaning process on both sides of the support
11) Let it soak for 24 hours
12) After 24 hours, removed the support from the alcohol and gently wiped it with absorbent paper
13) Reinserted the ink cartridges after removing the tape
Performed 2 or 3 cleaning cycles with the software
14) Did a few test prints every day, and after a few days
the miracle will happen.
15) For ink stains on fingers, use pure bleach
being careful with clothes as it irreparably discolors

Just as effective and cheaper: isopropyl alcohol (available at pharmacies).
Disassemble the print head and let it soak for several hours.
Dry and reassemble.

Maybe the CD that came with the printer contains this software?
Or, the manufacturer's website?

Otherwise, I already did it with a cotton swab soaked in water - no guarantees -.
Also check the condition of the metal contacts.

The printer's "cartridges" are replaced with each cartridge. How old are these cartridges? That might be the whole problem.

Of course, if you refill them yourself...

I have a problem, the paper got jammed during printing and on top of that I can't scan, what can I do??

1/ -Press one of the start buttons to eject the jammed paper. If the jammed paper is not ejected, proceed to the next step.
2/-If the paper is jammed near the sheet tray or the output tray, gently pull it outward.
3/-If the paper is jammed inside the printer, press the On button to power off the printer. Open the scanner unit and remove the jammed paper inside, including torn pieces. Do not pull the paper backward, as you may damage the sheet tray. Close the scanner unit and power on the printer.
4/-Once the jammed paper is removed, close the scanner unit and press the On button, then the Color Photo button.
5th step - Load a stack of paper into the sheet tray.
