"Unable to save some fonts"

Hello,

I'm writing you this message because I really need your help.
So here's the thing, I'm in the process of making a new slideshow but when I save it, I get the following error message:
"Unable to save certain fonts with the presentation". (see font Adobe Fangsong Std R)

I searched online and found how to replace this font.
I tried to replace it with Calibri but another error message appeared:
"You have selected an SBCS font to replace a DBCS font"

I managed to replace the old font (Adobe Fangsong) with Arial Unicode MS.
At least that's what I thought because when saving my presentation the error message regarding the presentation font reappeared.

I'm totally lost and I sincerely hope you can help me.

Best regards

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 59.0

Hello everyone,

I'm bringing this topic back up because I have the exact same issue.

Is there a way to:
- Remove the use of the font throughout the document?
- Force the embedding of the font (error message "this font is not of TrueType type")?
- Effectively replace the font (the method used by Hugo.dbl doesn't work - I'm facing the same problem)?

Thank you for your help :)

Complicated! The "best answer" is a question, haha! We're not out of the woods yet...

According to JeanBern's question, maybe we need to download the corresponding font. From DaFont.com for example.

Personally, I downloaded a presentation template from SlidesGo, but when I tried to save it, it says that the Livvic and Roboto Condensed Light fonts "This font is not of TrueType type."

Solution: Click on "Home" > block "Editing" click on "Replace" > "Replace fonts" > Select the fonts to be replaced.

However, like Hugo, the message appears "You have selected an SBCS font to replace a DCBS font. Select a DCBS font from the list."

There isn’t an online list of DCBS fonts (otherwise, it would be too easy...). So:

- Either find a default DCBS font in the presentation software
- Or download any font that messes things up (e.g., Dafont.com) > Unzip the font (or just take the font out of the zipped folder and put it on the desktop) > Open your file explorer and look for the "Fonts" folder with a folder image showing an "A" > Open the "Fonts" folder > Put the unzipped font (or on the desktop) into the "Fonts" folder.
The font is accessible!! Well, I’m sure you’ll find better tutorials than mine anyway...

Come on, good luck to us T-T

UPDATE:
It workssss!!! Downloading the font that blocks saving as my terrible tutorial says works!! I downloaded them with GoogleFonts and the fonts automatically load into the open and unsaved software. So, so great, kisses to those this helps my God, it’s the first time I participate in a forum, not even needing an account, so hyped. Kisses to the crew
