As explained in the title, I would like to know if it is possible, through a plugin or otherwise, to integrate a video player (MKV and other formats) in HTML on a web page.

      Ah, I had forgotten that I had already posted about this, but I wonder if there isn't a plug-in that supports this format, as it is indeed the browser that chooses the format(s) it supports in the video tag.

      But precisely, I do not want to use a video tag but rather an embed tag of a custom player.
