Hello, I have a problem with my Acer Iconia Tab A210... Ten days ago, I changed my password and I completely forgot it. I've tried typing various words, but none of them match. Google implemented this blocking starting from Android 5 Lollipop. By deduction, your tablet should be running on Android 4, which is not affected by this feature... Unless there has been an upgrade to a newer version since then...??? That is indeed the question.
The big difference is that with the new version, you are indeed blocked, whereas with the old one, I don’t believe you are.
You can try a reset to enter a new password... But you will lose all your personal data..

The newer versions (on the web) are not for novices in computing.. with these keywords in the Google search engine "Unlock Acer Iconia Tab A210 password"
Let’s add that:
It is wise to have a duplicate of all your personal files on another medium... you could have at least had a microSD card to store your documents, contacts, and photos, and an occasional backup on an external hard drive is a wise precaution... that was already practiced in the distant days of paper..
Another point... the rule of serious forums does not help in violating passwords, it is written in the forum charter of CCM; it is easy to understand why.
