GALAXY TAB 10.1 - password lock forgotten!

Hello,

After two months of not using it, I can't remember the password that locks access to my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I can no longer use it and can't find a way to unlock it on the Internet or on the Samsung/Galaxy Tab website. Thank you for your help!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 19.0

    1. Turn off the Galaxy Tab 10.1
    2. Once it's off, press Power / Volume Up (or down) simultaneously
    3. You will enter the boot menu, choose factory reset
    4. And there you go, that's the only solution... otherwise it's full price at the store
