Portable discharging even while charging

Hello,
I have a Huawei P8 that I've had for about 2 years, and until now, I've had no issues except for recently.
For some time now, my phone discharges even when it's charging; I've changed the cable, the plug... nothing seems to work. It doesn’t happen all the time; at times it charges perfectly well, and at other times, not at all.
I’m not sure if it’s related, but I first encountered this problem two months ago when I was abroad. I thought it might be my plug adapter or the cold because it felt like -30°C, and my phone would turn off when I left it outside for too long to take photos... Once I returned to France, it charged normally until about a month later. Since my cable was damaged, I thought that might be the issue, so I bought a brand new one... And since last night, the same problem... I went to bed last night with it charging at 55% and woke up in the middle of the night to find it at 33%....
Do you know what might be causing the problem, whether my phone is faulty or if it's just the battery?
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 64.0.3282.186

Hello, it's simply the battery that may not be brand new anymore and the cold is the number one enemy of batteries, it's failing a bit, if not a lot, I think you should change your battery.

Thank you, do you think it's worth changing the battery or would it be better to change the phone? (I have no idea about the price of batteries)
