Hello,

I am sure that my PC is infected with viruses. The Adwcleaner scan confirms it, finding 3 items:
PUP.Optional.Solvusoft
PUP.Optional.DriverDoc
PUP.Optional.Legacy

I click on "clean" but the problem is that the following error message appears: Caught unhandled unknown exception; terminating.

I have to click "Ok" and the progress bar doesn't move anymore, it's stuck. I have to force close Adwcleaner with the task manager "end task." So, during the next scan, it finds the same 3 items that could not be removed...

I have tried several different versions of Adwcleaner, the same thing happens.

How can I get rid of the viruses? Thank you

    Hello,

The AdwCleaner detections don't mean anything regarding the possibility of an active infection or not.
    Give the report.

    Not infected.
I advise you to avoid regular scans with AdwCleaner, ZHPCleaner, etc.

Read about these bad scanning habits everywhere:
    AdwCleaner, RogueKiller, ZHPCleaner: bad habits.

Just stick to scans with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free version tutorial which has a broader scope of action.

I read the page about the bad habits of cleaning tools. It's good to know, even though my PC isn't often on now.
Malwarebytes doesn't detect anything in the full scan. Yet I have NVIDIA drivers installed since March 6, 2018, in my list of programs, which I never installed. Ads pages and a battery logo that no longer informs me of its weakness.

I didn't understand, do you have issues with pop-up ads?
If so, on which internet browser?

Inopportune, no. Yesterday, there was a fullscreen ad, with repeating audio, saying that I am supposedly infected and advising me to download some software. I'm on Mozilla Firefox and I'm using DuckDuckGo for my searches, with Adblock installed.

      ok classic,

This is a telephone support scam message aimed at making you believe that your PC is infected in order to get you to call a support service....
The goal of this support is to reassure you that your computer is infected, ultimately leading you to purchase software at inflated prices or subscribe to remote help services, all for prices exceeding 150 euros.
These fake virus messages attempt to block the web browser and indicate that the PC is infected; they come from:
      - advertisements on illegal streaming/torrent sites
      - advertisements on Facebook also disseminate them.

In the past, there have been telephone campaigns where you would receive a call from a technician pretending to be Microsoft.
      Your computer is not infected.
