Hello,
After some unsuccessful research, I turn to you to help me.
I would like to make the "recent" tab of the start menu disappear when searching for software. In my example, I searched for "VLC," and as you can see just below, a list displays my recently watched videos.
I would therefore like to get rid of this useless list, especially since it still keeps a record of files that have been deleted from their locations.
I have already tried to manually delete the items from the list, but they always come back.
Thank you.

To delete the "Recent" history, you need to right-click on the taskbar, then select "Taskbar settings," then choose "Start," and at the bottom of the list, click to disable "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar...".
