Hello,
I installed the Orange security suite a few months ago. Everything was going very well, but since yesterday I can no longer open the application. However, my computer says it is well protected and up to date with the Orange security suite. The problem is that I don't see the updates happening as before and that I can't use the application's features like scanning my computer or scanning files. Should I reinstall the application?
Configuration: Windows / Opera Next 35.0.2066.37

Thank you very much for your prompt response. I will uninstall it and reinstall it.
I have used free antivirus programs for years and have been quite satisfied. In particular, Avast's antivirus. Then I started having problems and constantly received ads to install paid versions, which were not more effective. Being a subscriber with Orange, I eventually took the security suite to be at peace. I would like to mention that I have an old Toshiba that works wonderfully but is still on XP, and I use the browser from Opera. Perhaps not ideal for compatibility?

Hello,
I would rather suggest uninstalling this Orange program and then reinstalling it; there is a better chance that it will open correctly afterwards. And why not install a free antivirus?

It is recommended not to use XP anymore for security reasons as this system is no longer updated by Microsoft.

The problem is that software publishers have abandoned XP, so there is not much left that works on XP... -
Yes, of course. That's why I'm considering investing in a new computer. But in the meantime, I have to make do with what I have.
I haven't reinstalled the Orange suite yet, but I'll be sure to keep you updated on the results. Thanks again for your advice.
Have a good afternoon,
