Bibliography on Pages

Hello,
I need to create a bibliography for my thesis. I'm using Pages (Version 6.3.1), so I used the "end of document notes" feature to insert my bibliographic references.
The problem is that this feature forces me to use a new number each time, even when two numbers refer to the same bibliographic reference.
Furthermore, I can't write after my bibliography (where I need to insert my appendices afterwards).
I've tried using EndNote but I can't get it to work (in Pages, the "insert EndNote citation" tab appears but is grayed out).
Do you have a solution, please? :)
