[Grouped subject] Emails arriving, lots of delays

Question

Hello,
I notice that many emails sent to me are arriving with a significant delay: often more than 3 hours.
The email headers show that several servers at laposte.net are holding them for several hours before delivering them.
This problem has appeared for over a week.
Who else has noticed this?
The same issue with another @laposte.net account.

And, to top it off, this morning I received a response from "Customer Service," sent yesterday Tuesday at 2:40 PM and received this morning around 9 AM, informing me that the problem was resolved !!!!
It's all a big joke !!!!

Hello,
I have noticed for at least two weeks that my emails have been arriving several hours late. And since the end of this morning, I can no longer connect to my mailbox at all. An error message is displayed: HTTP ERROR 502
Problem accessing ZCS upstream server. Cannot connect to the ZCS upstream server. Connection is refused.
Possible reasons:
upstream server is unreachable
upstream server is currently being upgraded
upstream server is down
Please contact your ZCS administrator to fix the problem.

It took more than 9 hours today to receive an email! I think I'm going to go back to envelopes with stamps... Mail carriers might be more reliable!  It's still crazy that such a basic service, in place for so long, tested by so many providers, has been problematic for so many days... and still not fixed! As a poste.net user, I haven't noticed the problem (which doesn't mean it doesn't exist...)

Since only some people seem to be affected, the best thing to do is definitely for each of us to report it on their site, so they can more easily identify the common points among the affected individuals...

However, even though I regularly use this email service, it is indeed unfortunate that there are no responses when a problem arises... communication doesn't seem to be their "thing"....

For several weeks now, I've been having the same issue, but only on my Samsung/Android tablet.
Emails sent from all providers' domains arrive with a delay of between 5 and 10 hours.
I reported this issue to Laposte several days ago, who acknowledged receipt with an automated response but hasn't provided any follow-up.
I have the impression that only robots are handling the problems, but there are no "humans" to address them.
The only solution in my opinion: change domain and forget Laposte.

Hello,  I’m wondering about these bugs... They’ve been happening for a while (several days/weeks) and solutions seem (to put it mildly) to be delayed... aside from vague communication acknowledging the issue...  The postal service is in financial trouble, closing numerous agencies, and trying to diversify into paid services (driving theory tests, support for elderly people, etc...) however, the webmail doesn’t seem to bring in much (it probably costs them... servers, maintenance...)  In short, could it be that they are... as the saying goes: "if you want to get rid of your dog, say he has rabies..." orchestrating user disgust... which would then justify abandoning the service (already in a bad way)?  Personally, (more out of obligation than desire) I’ve started to implement replacement solutions... I regret this situation which can only drive users of this French webmail to migrate to a "GAFA" competitor. Perhaps a solution is to publicize the issue, by making it known on Facebook or Twitter for example (hashtag #laposteenretard) or another social network.

For my part, I can't even send emails from laposte.net anymore  A simple test email sent to yahoo.fr doesn't go through.  "A network error has occurred." The test email from yahoo.fr to laposte.net, except that the error is that the address seems to be erroneous, or even non-existent. Mailer Daemon informs us that the message could not be delivered. With obviously a 5-hour delay to return the information to the sender that there is a problem with laposte.net  Sent at 11:45 PM, returned at 4:54 AM  "Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.  Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up." I am in the process of updating my contact address with the various administrations where it is important.

This is because what La Poste says in its message: "No loss of messages is to be reported" is false. Indeed, as a test, I sent myself messages, and I received responses from some Postmasters stating that there was a failure to send after several attempts made over more than 3 or 4 days.

Some organizations will not investigate further in case of sending failures. The responses from the Postmasters, (if there are any), will be discarded, and the emails will therefore be genuinely lost. These could be important emails related to professional activity, attestations linked to tax declarations, since it is the season, or other important emails.

If La Poste announces such a long period of "disruptions" without giving the exact reasons, we can legitimately question the exact causes.

Sadly, a record was broken this morning: a message from Thursday, April 5th, posted by my insurer (!) at 6:40 PM regarding a minor issue - I'm putting it into perspective - arrived this Monday, April 9th, at 6:40 AM in my laposte.net inbox: if I'm calculating correctly, that's 3 and a half days or 84 hours. This is the longest delay in the past three weeks, but the waiting time is currently increasing and it's always more than 24 hours, with an average of 40 to 48 hours for the majority of emails. We will wait (politely, but the adverb isn't quite right) until the end of April to give a chance to the service that has satisfied me for 11 years. At this stage, I'm asking my main correspondents not to send me emails anymore.

Like Xileh, personally, I think the excuse put forward by La Poste, the "overload" of ads (ten times more in recent months), is completely bogus.
I have also never had spam in my @laposte address. This is because I reserved this address for certain uses.
However, I have sometimes found perfectly valid emails, but they were held in the spam folder on the La Poste server itself, thus not delivered to my client application on my computer. This is due to excessive filtering done by La Poste. Quite ironic.
For this reason, I switched my account from POP to IMAP, so I no longer need to check my emails in webmail mode and can manage them from my email application.

After some thought, I remember that a few weeks ago, I had issues with sending... Emails I sent ended up in the outbox but were never received by my recipients; emails sent that did NOT appear in the outbox and therefore obviously were never received by my recipients...  I was already considering leaving the platform for another one (Gmail in this case) because I find the aesthetics and the intuitive aspect very complicated... My decision is made! Hello xplom, People complain a lot about "la poste" and public services, but after a long experience, the "CCP" of "la banque postale" isn't that bad: 1. back in the 1980s, it was by far the first bank to implement "signature verification," a market taken over by IBM. Just so you know, SG has only been doing signature verification for less than 10 years! 2. for value transfers from Spain, for example, it is efficient and cheaper than other banks. 3. so far, "la banque postale," as far as I know, is not marred by scandals like other banks (SG, BNP, and a few others). With "la banque postale," I have never had disputes, just one or two small hiccups! That's not the case with SG, which I left for a small regional bank. Recently, with the major bug of "laposte.net," things haven't been great. Personally, I've experienced major outages lasting 3 weeks but no more. To be continued.  -- A poor lonesome Debianner....
