How to play PS4 on a laptop screen?

Hello everyone,
I would like to know how to "change the source" on a laptop so that the image displayed on it is no longer from the PC but from a gaming console like a PS4.
I have already tried connecting my PS4 to my PC via the HDMI port, but it doesn't work and the image from the PC remains displayed instead of that of the PS4.

    Hi,

    It's probably because the HDMI port is an output and not an input.
