PUB PDF Architect at startup of the computer Solved

Question

Hello,

I recently reinstalled my PC after changing the main hard drive.
I reinstalled everything properly, but since installing PDF Architect, I have an ad at the bottom right of the screen every time I start the computer.
I therefore uninstalled PDF Architect via the Control Panel, but this ad remains along with quite a few files in C:\programmes\pdf architect 5

Can you help me to permanently get rid of this ad?

Hello,
as indicated by the help mentioned by MG, it is generally not necessary to uninstall PDF Architect (which can be quite useful for creating PDFs); you just need to open this software, go to the File tab, then Options, and check to disable under Notification System.

Hello,

I think you installed this unwanted program at the same time as PDF creator (be sure to read before clicking next).
Adwcleaner should help you get rid of it.

I ran a scan with Adwcleaner, and it found an additional popup. I cleaned it up, it seems to have worked. I'll wait a bit before marking the topic as resolved.  Thank you all.

Look in the "Startup" tab if "pdf architect" is present to disable it in "msconfig":

Otherwise, another solution is to reinstall this software to then completely uninstall it with "Revo Uninstaller free":

No PDF in msconfig startup I can't reinstall the software, it tells me that it installed correctly but it doesn't install.  I'm still at the same point.

Hello, Check if ZHPcleaner detects it: https://nicolascoolman.eu Be careful, only clean what you're sure about.  Your antivirus may block the program. Temporarily disable it.

I started in safe mode, I managed to delete the entire "pdf architect 5" folder I then cleaned the registry with CCleaner (which was full of pdf architect links) I'll keep you updated
