Unable to update a Polaroid tablet

Hello,

I have a little problem with my Polaroid tablet: When I go to the settings and into "About the tablet," I don't see the "Check for updates" button.

The tablet runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and the model of the tablet is: MID0714.

Edit: I would like to update it to a newer version, like 4.2, 4.3, or 4.4.

    Hi,

    Polaroid is a total piece of junk.
    It doesn’t get any worse on the market.
    Don’t bother trying to update your tablet; there isn’t one.
    Instead, look for a real tablet where you can get one of the latest versions of Android.
    A Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 for example.

      Thank you for the reply, but anyway the tablet doesn't work anymore, so I don't care now, but thanks anyway for the reply. And I think I'm going to get a tablet, but more in the low-end/mid-range.

      Edit: on the Polaroid site, there are tablets, you just have to search for "tablet" in the search bar.

        Avoid going to the Polaroid website, you would make a big mistake.
        Tablet and smartphone are the worst you can find on the market.
