My PC does not recognize my Redmi 4A.

When I connect my Redmi 4A to my PC with a USB cable, my PC doesn't recognize it. However, it makes the connection sound, and when I go to devices and printers, I see it listed as "unidentified Android device," but nothing happens. I can't access my photos, videos, etc.
Do you have a solution? Thank you.

my PC doesn't want to say anything.. which operating system?

when you connect to the PC, at the top of your phone screen you see your USB icon, tap on it or swipe down and choose to connect in MTP mode.

GREAT ! ! ! ! Thank you, it works! ! ! ! Except that it's not MTP but "transfer photos" that I should have chosen. Thanks again!

PTP only for photos. MTP for everything and read this because you are not the only one with an issue with the Redmi
