A browser for Mac 10.6.8

Hello,
In March, I made a call for help to find a browser for Mac 10.6.8 or rather how to do it. My call was heard and I have Firefox 48.0.2, but it’s buggy again!!! Firefox no longer supports Mac 10.6.8, so what should I do???? Is there a browser for my old Mac or do I need to change it???? Honestly, computers are great, but sometimes they really drive me crazy.
So I'm making another call... Can anyone tell me if there is a decent browser for Mac 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10? I’m lost!!!!!!

On this page you will find all the browsers, you click on the one that interests you and you will have all the available versions for 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
Try Opera or Camino or others.

  well, thanks... but I've tried everything and it's not that at all... I must be useless!!!!!!!
  camino not operational... at least no updates
  opera... can't do it... so I'll stick with firefox for now
  if Santa is reading maybe.... thank you anyway but if others have ideas I'm all ears

Hello,

Even though it is a very good system, MacOS Snow Leopard 10.6 is an old system and no application developer will waste time keeping their application updated for an old system because they will then have to ensure the update for MacOS 10.7 Lion, MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion, MacOS 10.9 Mavericks... As of today, we are at MacOS 10.13 High Sierra.

You are complaining about Firefox v48.0.2 which is glitching again: okay, but how is this actually manifesting? What do you ask it to do? If it refuses to open certain websites, give examples.

  Good evening Ritchi, first of all thank you for your response, I often have the little loading wheel that comes up, especially when I go on Facebook, YouTube, and it is slow, very slow......
  it doesn’t refuse sites.... I don't know how to explain it for you to understand...

Navigation does not solely depend on the browser; if your Mac isn't very powerful and doesn't have much memory, everything will be very slow and laggy. You can't turn a workhorse into a thoroughbred, a 2CV into a Ferrari...

  Hi Dede.. I think I've already given you that information.. see forum from March 20, 2017... you replied that my Mac wasn't obsolete but not top-notch, too old, but I'm still looking maybe I'll find a solution
  I did find the solution but it costs a lot, a Mac, for now I'll stick with Firefox we'll see later thanks

  I agree with Dede: 1.5 GB of RAM is a bit low, but not sure that with 2 GB it will really be a miracle. For your information, two 1 GB memory sticks would cost you 2x20 euros (example). I mention two sticks to ensure that you have two identical sticks in your iMac; otherwise, that could cause problems. If you open the Mac through the small trapdoor under the screen, you will see the models of memory you have, and maybe buying just one stick will be enough.

  The more time goes by, the less things will improve: You use YouTube and notice the spinning wheel. It’s either due to your internet connection (low bandwidth) or the video format that the Mac struggles to decode. YouTube has already changed video formats in the past. Nothing prevents them from changing them again to adopt a format that is even more efficient for a current Mac but very penalizing for an older Mac.
  
  A new Mac is indeed very, very expensive, but a second-hand Mac that's 2, 3, or even 4 years old is much more affordable without being outdated. I say this because my iMac is a 2007 model, and when it lets me down or when I'm really stuck with unmanageable video edits, then I will buy a second-hand Mac that will, in any case, be much more powerful than the current one, which still works very well for me.

Maybe next year a new Mac (second-hand of course) will settle on my desk and maybe I will call on you again to find out if the model I choose will be good..... As you probably understood, I'm not at the top of my game in this area... I thank you
    By the way, what do I need to have a good Mac even if it's second-hand???????

    What matters, before choosing a model, is to find, for example on Le Bon Coin, a Mac in your area, as close to your home as possible, in order to check its condition and proper functioning. After that, the price depending on its release year and configuration.
