CPU FAN Speed N/A

Question

Hello, when I connect the plug of my CPU fan to the CPU_FAN socket, I get no speed (N/A) either in the BIOS or on utilities. I have tested this with two fans, so the problem comes from the motherboard.

However, when I connect the cooler to the CHA_FAN1 socket, I get a speed of 2000 RPM. I would like to know if it is possible to regulate the speed of my fan based on the CPU temperature using CHA_FAN1.

Theoretically, the fan control is set in the boot. I'm not an expert, but for me, I have the option (standard, Eco, or Fast)?

Hello, I checked my BIOS and I have the options you mentioned, but I think they are more about the CPU performance/power consumption ratio.

If there were software to base the chassis fan speed (CHA_FAN) on a temperature (CPU temperature in my case), that would be perfect. In the meantime, I'm looking for that :)

Well, I just ordered a better cooler, the "be quiet slim," which is supposed to run at a maximum of 25.4 dB. It will run at full speed, but if it's quiet, that's fine.
