Hello everyone
I came across a guy in a Marseille Facebook group who was offering all the free channels through a smart TV app that you can download with the Bbox Miami
I tried it this weekend; by giving him the MAC address of my box, he opened a 24-hour trial subscription for me
But after some reflection, I retracted my decision. I prefer not to take a pirate subscription and stay with my paid subscription that has fewer bugs
On the other hand, I would like to know if there is a risk that the guy now has my MAC address??... I might be a little paranoid, but can he see my conversations, purchases with my credit card, etc. that happen on my computers connected to the box

No...
The MAC address is simply a reference number, used to identify hardware (like a serial number); in networking, it mainly serves to identify network cards.
Nothing can be done with that.
