Equivalent for Windows of the APERCU software for Mac

Hello,

My thesis supervisor is correcting my work in PDF on a MAC using a software called APERCU.

On Abode or Acrobat, his comments do not appear and are replaced by inactive black boxes.
He advised me to find a Windows version of APERCU, but I only found an equivalent called PDFelement, which has the same issue.

I cannot find APERCU for Windows.
Do you have a solution for me to read his comments? Are there possibly options to check under Abode or Acrobat?

      Yes, I send them to him. He is able to read them. But in return, all I see are squares instead of comments. Due to incompatibility.

      The error is on his part, he doesn't include the fonts in his recording, another solution is that he uses a standard font.
