    Hi sandryne62,

Your question is not clear, could you elaborate a bit?

If it's the total playback time of the audio files contained in a folder that you want to know, it doesn't matter which player you're using, it's the same.

You can't have an exact answer, you'll have to settle for an estimate. Knowing that a track has an average duration of 3'30, you multiply that duration by the number of MP3s in the folder.

Some styles are longer like jazz, dance versions, or compilations. It's still an average estimate.

I'm recording audio files (books) and I'd like to know the total listening time of the book. Usually, I would right-click and check properties to see the total duration. I can't do it anymore. I must have done something wrong. I don't understand anything?

I clicked on the right: where? in Audacity?

Otherwise, if you have multiple files, you select them/right-click/Properties/Details, you will find the total length of the selected files.

I find 93.7MB good but that's all. It doesn't give me the duration. Strange. I've found it before, though. Dilemma...

I finally found the answer. In fact, I was selecting a list of MP3 files (for listening to a book) and I included a table of contents file (Excel). That's why I couldn’t do it. But what a time I spent on it!
      Thank you for your answers!
