Block or remove friend suggestions

Hello everyone, how do we block or remove the friend suggestion list on Facebook? I have people from Cuba or any other country in my suggestion list, and it just keeps happening. It's really exhausting and harassing. Thank you in advance for your help.

Do not confuse "friend suggestions" and "friend requests"... The manipulation in the settings concerns friend requests.. Friend suggestions are by default on FB. The principle for FB is to encourage people to expand their network. I don't think it's possible to disable them because that's FB's interest. It's worth noting that a significant part of the interface is designed to encourage us to expand our network (liking pages, posts, people)... The day this part disappears, FB will become paid.

Since when are you saying it will be paid? Do you have any idea of the consequences this could have afterwards?

What he means is that if this feature appears, it will be of the "Premium" type, hence paid. And according to Facebook's mentality, this option will therefore never appear, as it is not "paid" for them. Hence why he says that if the feature appears, it would be in a "paid" form.
