Hello,

So here it is, I don't know anything about computers and I have a problem with my PC. I don't know how to do anything at all. Knowing that I really need my PC for my classes. So I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to proceed.

    Hello,

    Normally if it goes in for repair, you should have access to the recovery options
    => https://www.malekal.com/windows10-options-recuperation-systeme/
    From there, you have the advanced options, try a restore, startup repair, etc.

    If nothing works, reinstall Windows 10:

    Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10.
    All steps are provided from A to Z with tips at the end to secure Windows 10.

    The steps are roughly:

    - Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10 (other download methods: https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows/ ).
    - Create the installation media with Media Creation Tool
    - Boot from it by changing the boot sequence and selecting the USB stick or DVD: How to boot the computer from USB drive
    If the USB stick doesn't work, try making a new one with Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a USB installation drive for Windows
    - Follow the prompts to install Windows 10.
    - Choose custom (not upgrade)
    - During the partition phase, select the main partition and format it.
    - Click next, it will tell you that a Windows is already installed and will be moved.
    - Follow the Windows installation procedure using the tutorial above.
