Create DVD with menu containing episodes

Hey~

So, a friend gave me a little series he made himself, consisting of 4 episodes.
I would like to know what software you can recommend for creating a menu with an image (or even a video) in the background, music, etc., you know, the kind of menu that looks professional.
In this menu, there should be options to either play all or watch by "chapter," with the chapters being the episodes.

I've already tried quite a few programs and spent a lot of time on DVDStyler, but each time the output quality is close to zero. (I’ve made sure that the images and videos are in the right dimensions, so there were black bars, but still, the result just doesn't look good D:)

    Hello,

    DVDStyler seems to be the software suited for what you want to do...

    Can you tell me more about the original files, such as their file size, resolution, bitrate/video rate, and any other information you find useful?

    See, for example, some menus created with this software:
    - Main menu with 3 Titles (chapters), each containing 4 or 5 sub-chapters

    - Same type of menu structure, meaning Menu + Titles + Chapters

    - You can also modify the shape of the buttons, the text color, the background image, add music to the menu if I remember correctly, etc.


    I remind you, if necessary, how a DVD-Video is structured ;)

      Thank you for your response! Yes, DVDStyler was perfect for what I wanted to do, but I have a small problem, heh D: The quality of the episodes I imported into the software is perfect, but the menus I create with the software come out all ugly and blurry. I tried to make an image myself with the PAL dimensions (since it's a PAL DVD), but the menu is blurry. Even the text I create with the software is blurry. Do you know how to make the menu less blurry? In fact, when I say blurry, I just realized it’s more like very low quality because in the software it looks clear, but when I export it, it’s not the same! D:

      A DVD-Video is in SD or Standard Definition.
      So this could explain it if played on a large HD TV.

      Try testing with a DVD-RW if you have one, by putting a solid background (black for example) and resizing the buttons corresponding to the Titles/Chapters if you don’t have too many (2 or 3) to see if this has any impact or not.
      The quality of the chosen images also plays a role, so there's no need to adapt them beforehand, the software will do it automatically. Go for your own images; those of the pre-installed menus in the software are average.
      Also, play with the font by keeping it as simple as possible.
      These are just a few avenues to explore, as I haven't reinstalled this software on my new PC yet.

      In this DVD-Video, the background of Titles 1 and 3, among others, is indeed blurry because the image is of low resolution to begin with and the buttons too... I had never really paid attention to this before.

      That said, I would tell you that the main thing about a DVD-Video is not the menus but the videos contained within, but it’s true that from an aesthetic point of view, it looks bad.
