How to read a DVD with External Slim DVD-RW SDRW-08D2S-U Solved

Hello,
I have an Aspire ES15 laptop running Windows 10. I bought a slim external DVD-RW SDRW-08D2S-U, but I can't read my DVD (recently purchased movie).
The computer recognizes the device, and the driver is up to date!
So I don't understand why I can't play my movie. Thank you for your help.

Hello,  Have you tried using VLC?  You can download it directly from the publisher's site:  www.videolan.org  Judex No one is irreplaceable. But some are unmatched.

I spent 2 hours last night and at least 1 hour this evening looking for something on forums; I generally find 90% of my questions, but this time it was bugging!
After downloading, I only had to open "a disk" under the file!
