Hello,
I can't log into my Windows 10 session after disabling all services in "msconfig" by clicking "disable all". Windows starts but I can't log in, there are no fields to enter the password...
I tried restoring to a previous session but that didn't work. I can't start in safe mode either... I have an MSI motherboard
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 60.0.3112.113

Does this include resetting Windows?
It does not delete the data.
You can recover your data: https://www.malekal.com/comment-recuperer-ses-donnees-lorsque-windows-pc-est-plante-en-panne/
~~
You can also reinstall Windows without formatting.
Reinstall Windows 10 from installation media.
Reinstall Windows 10:
Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10.
All steps are detailed from A to Z with tips at the end to secure Windows 10.
The steps are roughly:
- Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10 (other download methods: https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows/).
- Create the installation media with Media Creation Tool
- Boot from it by changing the boot sequence and indicating the USB key or DVD: How to boot the computer from USB key
If the USB key does not work, try making another one with Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a Windows installation USB key
- Follow the prompts to install Windows 10.
- Choose custom (not upgrade)
- During the partition phase, select the main partition and click next.
- The installer will tell you that Windows is already present and offer to move it.
- Follow the Windows installation procedure using the tutorial above.
Above all, do not format.
Your user data will be copied into a subfolder of https://www.malekal.com/le-dossier-windows-old/.
Once Windows is installed, I recommend following these tips to properly configure and use Windows: Tips after reinstalling Windows.

Hello,
Start with the advanced system recovery options using method 1 from this page: Windows advanced recovery options.
The idea is to reboot to the page where you are asked for the password, with the icon in the bottom right and while holding the shift key.
If you cannot reach the window where Windows asks for the passwords, due to a blockage or crash beforehand...
Turn off the computer twice during the Windows loading.
It will enter repair mode, which will also give access to the advanced system recovery options.
(If starting with the advanced recovery options is impossible, you need to create a USB drive to boot from, there’s a link in the previous page for that).
From Troubleshoot, you can then try:
- to launch a system restore to revert to a previous Windows configuration
- From the settings menu, restart Windows and go into safe mode, from there you can uninstall a problematic application such as your antivirus
- Reset Windows 10 (this keeps your data but removes applications).
