Hello everyone,
Since 2013, I have been using MONEY. The version I am using is 1.3.1 (DB v.7).
Today I tried to save some transactions, and at the end of the saving process, when I click OK, nothing happens, I don’t receive any message, and the transaction does not appear in the list of recorded transactions.
Additionally, the display is reversed, meaning that the most recent transactions are not at the end of the list, at the bottom of the screen, but at the beginning, at the top of the screen.
These problems occur even though I have not made any changes.
I thank the person or people who will help me resolve this issue.

The solution would be to perform a clean and complete uninstallation after ensuring that the backup is okay, followed by a new installation, which in most cases corrects the bug!
You should share the link from which you downloaded this Money to know its exact version >> If it's MsMoney 2005 available on CCM, there’s no problem continuing, but if it’s another version, you need to be careful not to lose everything, etc.

Personal opinion >> Not great as software! But changing would force you to manually re-enter all previous transactions, and if it's not effective after uninstalling and reinstalling, the problem will be the same..... (Be careful to keep the last backup of the software "safe" before uninstalling it)

Indeed, it's Money Manager EX that I use. If I remember correctly, I believe I downloaded it from CCM.
Today and this weekend, I won't have time to look into the issue.

Following your advice, I managed to reinstall Money Manager Ex, it works well.
I'm encountering a small problem; to test the software, I recorded a transaction of €1 credit, and when I try to delete this transaction, I receive the following message:
Money Manager Ex Error:
Checkingaccount_V1: Exception attempt to write a readonly database(8):
attempt to write a readonly database.
If I understand correctly, the software is telling me that I cannot write to the database.
This problem doesn't bother me too much since I hardly ever delete a transaction.
Can you please tell me how I can fix this issue?

Which might mean that you are going to redo all your accounting on this new installation?? >> To be confirmed or denied because I have another solution to propose if you want to redo your accounting follow-up.

Since my database is intact and accessible, I want to continue using it. When I say to run tests, I mean that I tried to record a transaction, something I couldn't do when I asked you for help.

Tonight I tried to record a new debit operation that does not appear, then I attempted a credit operation that also does not show.
So the problem is not resolved.

As written in my first message, Money Manager EX is not great and I suggest you install Microsoft Money 2005 instead (free). This software has been discontinued by Microsoft in Europe since 2005 (previously paid) but is still used by thousands of people, and I can assure you that it works very well (personally for over 15 years).
Its download link is >> Here >> Read the installation instructions..
If you have problems setting up your backups, come back here specifying which medium you want to use (HDD - USB stick or CD/RW rewritable, which I personally use)
Note >> If you’re okay with MsMoney, don’t forget to completely uninstall Money Manager EX first.

As promised, I'm here to give you an update on my issue with MONEY.
This morning I got familiar with MsMoney, it wasn't complicated since it has a lot of similarities with Money Ex.
I printed all the current transactions from my bank account, then I matched my credit card receipts with that list. I was able to record my balance in the new Money and then I recorded the transactions from my credit cards that weren't accounted for.
So, today I think I'm up to date and I believe a bit thanks to your help, for which I thank you.

After searching a lot, I finally found the column where I need to enter the check number.
What threw me off is that in this same column, you either enter a debit, a credit, or the check number that you're recording.

For the version of MONEY, in my message, 2013 is not the version of MONEY but the date since I have been using MONEY. I don't know the version of MONEY I was using back then. However, the MONEY I am currently using, and have been for some time, is the MONEY that has been generously made available to internet users by the provider. So I do not have a CD to restore the MONEY I downloaded and am using; its version is 1.3.1 (DB v.7);
