Games are no longer being read by my DS.

Hello,

I am no longer young, so first, my apologies.

My little boy, who is 5 years old, has a 2DS with Mario installed on it.

After a bad manipulation, I re-downloaded Mario.

But since then, the DS no longer reads other games (I don't know if we still say game cartridge).

I have done software updates, etc... But nothing works.

The problem is that today when I start the DS, I have a Nintendo 3DS animation in the background at launch. Maybe it's the software that has been installed on it and I need different software to read the games.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Have a nice day.

You say you don't have a cartridge, just Mario in dematerialized form. How can you say that the cartridges are not detected and that the other games no longer work???

I had Mario installed on the 2DS.
So there were no cartridges.
I was able to re-download it from the eShop.

Then, the other cartridges I tested are not recognized? These are the cartridges I was talking about when I said they were not detected.

Sorry for the initial explanation, I didn't specify that the mistake came from my son and that he deleted Mario from the DS.
So it was after that I redownloaded Mario who had disappeared.

To correct "My little boy is 5 years old and has a 2DS with Mario installed on it.
After a bad maneuver, he deleted Mario.
So I redownloaded Mario.
But since then, the DS ..
