Hello, I bought an external CD/DVD writer for my laptop, which lacks one. :
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01878ZPYC/ref=asc_df_B01878ZPYC45451836/?tag=googshopfr-21&creative=22686&creativeASIN=B01878ZPYC&linkCode=df0&hvdev=m&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=
And I wanted to connect it to my Panasonic smart TV via a USB port to use it, but it doesn't work. Is there a solution?

All USB devices need a driver to function.
If it works with USB flash drives and hard drives, it's because the manufacturer has installed generic drivers for these devices on your TV's OS.
If your DVD player doesn't work, it's because the generic drivers for CD/DVD players are not installed on your TV's system.
So I would say no, but maybe by calling Panasonic technicians they will be able to help you.
