Impossible to send SMS-MMS to Portugal

it's all in the title! I've been trying in vain to send texts to my friend who is on vacation for 3 weeks in Portugal but it's not working... I have a Free plan for 2 euros/month - I'm angry I've called FREE several times. 1st call: signing up for the international option but that's not it because my friend has a French mobile number - 2nd call they had me change some settings on my WIKO U FEEL LITE phone but nothing changes. I turned off my phone and removed the SIM card... I receive his texts and I can call him but he doesn't receive either my texts or my MMS. The first two days it worked well but now nothing... have you experienced the same problem? and most importantly, did you solve it? Thank you in advance

I think you need to request the activation of the international option (10 euros) because it might not be included in your plan (calls to a foreign mobile). Actually, for me, it was a call from a French mobile to a French mobile. The problem I had was resolved; my friend had made a mistake on his phone, and my messages ended up in his spam folder.
