Hello everyone, I have a very important question: Why does my iPad 2 lose battery even when I'm charging it? I think it’s the battery that has worn out more and more until it can no longer hold a charge; this is just a hypothesis to confirm.
Here are some details:
- It's a 16 GB iPad 2
- I bought it in June 2012
- It's not a cable or dock bug, I've purchased both and the same problem occurred
- I’ve had this issue for 6 months.
Thank you for responding; it would help me a lot.

If, after a factory reset, this still happens, then yes, it's your battery that is reaching the end of its life.
It's important to know that batteries have a lifespan relative to the number of charge cycles they go through.
Sometimes a factory reset solves the problem because there are fewer applications running in the background, which reduces system usage and may allow your iPad to last a little longer. But I suggest you back up your data and change it quickly before losing everything.
