Hello,
I have an Asus Zenpad 10 tablet since December 2016.
As mentioned in the manual, the tablet was charged before I used it.
When my tablet turns off due to low battery and I plug it in to charge overnight, it gets stuck at 1% and turns off immediately when I turn it back on the next day.
I also notice that when it is charging while still on, the tablet refuses to charge above 80% and discharges very quickly.
As a student, my tablet was supposed to help me go to university. How am I supposed to manage to take my courses on a tablet that discharges in 2 hours and refuses to charge afterwards??
I thought it might be the charger, but the charger seems to be fully functional.
If someone has had this problem before and could help me or let me know if this is normal and if I've done something incorrectly, I would really appreciate it.
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 10.0

Hello,
Are the charger and cable being used the originals?
Given that the tablet is still relatively new and considering the symptoms, it might be necessary to arrange for a return for service to check if the warranty needs to be activated, as there seems to be an issue mainly with the battery and/or the charging circuit.

First of all, thank you for your response.
Indeed, it concerns the original charger and cable of the tablet; I was thinking of buying another charger to check if there is a defect or not.
