Hello, I just bought an Asus ROG G553VD and the games run very well on all graphic settings, but when I unplug the laptop, the FPS is capped at 30. However, I know that this PC can go much higher even when unplugged. I have disabled Vsync in the game and in the Nvidia control panel. I would like to unlock my FPS, can someone help me? Thank you :D

Config: Intel Core i7 7700HQ
Nvidia GTX 1050 4G
8G of DDR4 RAM
SSD 256G

    Hi

Well, in "Power Saving" mode like all battery-powered devices, it's clear that it will be slower since everything is throttled...

I have manually set all modes to maximum performance, even in the advanced settings. Moreover, it's not the amount of energy that is limited since the PC is capped at 30 FPS: a very demanding game with anti-aliasing and everything running at 30 FPS when plugged in will perform the same when unplugged. So it's my PC that is limiting its frame rate, but I would like to know how to disable this :/

But can you turn off energy saving mode when it is not on the charger?

Well, if you're talking about the PC, yes.
