Hello,

I have a slightly old home cinema system. It consists of a DVD player that I would like to connect to a PC. Considering that my DVD player only has the red, yellow, and white plugs for the TV and an HDMI out port, I would like to know if it can be connected to the PC through this HDMI out port, and in that case, will the PC just be a display for the DVD or will I be able to send video or audio from the PC to the player?

Thank you.

    Hello,
It is highly unlikely that your PC has audio/video inputs; however, you can try connecting your home directly to the screen if it has an HDMI input.

Thank you for your response. By the way, I want to use my PC as a means of sending audio or video data rather than displaying it. Note that my PC has an HDMI port.
      Thank you.

Yes, but this HDMI port is an output and not an input...;-(
