TV reception issue via freeplug

Question

Hello,

I am a customer of Free.
I have a Freebox Révolution with a Multi-TV option.

Everything was working perfectly, the connection between my freeplugs was perfect until 6 days ago. Indeed, for the past 6 days, I have been experiencing serious TV reception issues. Image pixelation, audio and video stuttering...
I unplugged everything, I resynchronized the FPs. Nothing works... It works perfectly for a few minutes, up to 1 hour max, but then it malfunctions again. When I unplug and replug it, it works again, but then it malfunctions a little while later.

When I check the Freeplugs section of my Freeplayer, the communication appears poor between the FPs despite the troubleshooting.

I don't know what to do anymore. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it.

Hi, try a direct ethernet cable between the box and the TV box instead of going through the freeplugs.  and ... There you go!

Your idea is tempting ... but ... because yes, there is a "but" ... My box is at one end of the house and the freeplayer at the other ... I would need 30 meters of Ethernet cable. This complicates things a bit ...
I am open to other ideas.

What happened 6 days ago with your installation that caused the Freeplugs to no longer synchronize?
Are you using extension cords?
Are the pixelations occurring on both TV sets since you have 2 TV boxes?

Hello

To use 2 TV boxes, you need a good line and a stable (good) bandwidth.
I'm with Free, I only have one TV box but I restart the Freebox every day. Often when I watch TV for several hours, after a while the sound stutters and sometimes the image freezes.
Free tells me that my line is poor, or you are using power strips which is not good for the PLC.
One solution is to lower the streaming quality by switching to low bandwidth on the TV box, but I'm not sure if that's possible on the Revolution!?

Hello,

Everything was working perfectly before. I tried switching to a low bandwidth, but nothing works. It’s really the connection between the plugs that is the issue.

In response to Free_noreto. While discussing with my neighbor (next door), actually, when I started having problems is when he signed up for a subscription with Free because he was having issues with one of his competitors.
I changed the power strips, but nothing works, still no television.

So I will have to follow Brupala’s advice and run cables across the house. And now, the legendary Free advertisement becomes irrelevant, but well ... the important thing is to find a lasting solution.

Thank you all. I’ll get back to you this weekend to confirm if it works or not.
