PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_1845103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&CC_0C03

Ethernet Controller / Identification numbers:

Hello,

Go to DriverCloud to run an analysis.

Install the agent and then start the analysis.
You should see this window when you click on the shortcut (blue cloud) after installing the agent:
Click on Detect, it will analyze your PC and give you the results in your browser by selecting the Drivers tab at the top of the window.

Of course, since you don't have internet, download the agent from another PC, and once transferred to the HP, perform an offline detection.
You will save the results in a file that you can transfer to the PC that has internet.
You just need to upload this file on the site.
It will detect the configuration of the HP and give you the appropriate drivers.
Then you just have to download and transfer them to the HP for installation.

You should get internet afterward.

Thank you for your help, I indeed launched driverscloud but after starting the detection, the orange window as you mentioned does not appear.... I only have a file named configuration.mc that I can save and I cannot read the content... what should I do, thanks.

It's the site that will read the content of the saved file once you have uploaded it to the site using the PC that has internet.

Hello,

The model number is incomplete: G7-...... ?
Check the label under the laptop.

For simplified communication PCI, try this one --> MEI

The discussion should continue here and not in MP.
Thank you.

Install the driver manually:
Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the simplified communication PCI
Update the driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to the folder of the unzipped driver --> MYi5-Win7-64bit-INF
Select the folder --> ME
OK, next
Restart

I successfully installed the last driver that I was missing, but I still don't have internet access; the Wi-Fi button remains continuously orange even when I press it. Thank you for your help.

In the device manager
Is there an alert regarding the network controller?
Do you have a section --> other devices?

Hello,

Go into the BIOS and check if the wireless/LAN device is properly enabled.

I went into the BIOS by pressing F10, but I can't find Wireless/LAN: I'm not good with the BIOS. What should I do, please?

Look in advanced, integrated peripherals or on-board configuration.

Is Windows up to date?
If not, go to Windows Update and make all the updates.

Hello,

I don't know if it's up to date, and how can I perform updates on Windows updates if I don't have internet? The famous F10 Wi-Fi button stays orange...

You can't access the web with the network cable (ethernet)?

Hello,

If I connected via Ethernet cable, I managed to get Windows updated... but nothing changes, no Wi-Fi, the button is stuck on orange and won't switch to blue...

I have no more ideas.

Could it be that the wifi card is defective?

Thank you for your help, one last question: in the device manager/network adapter/I just indicated local area connection/realtek pcie fe family controller

I have a Wi-Fi problem only on one computer, I wonder if I'm missing something to have Wi-Fi!!! Thank you for helping me.

I would uninstall the ISP software if you have it installed.
It does more harm than good.
You don't need that to connect to the Internet.

Daddy, good evening,

I don’t think I installed anything, I’m with Free, how can I check? My other computer works fine with Wi-Fi and the one that doesn’t work only has issues with Wi-Fi… thanks for your help.

Go to the device manager, then find the Wi-Fi card. Uninstall the driver.
Restart the PC; it should reinstall automatically.
Try to connect afterward.
