What is the data output on Numericable wall socket?

Hello,

I subscribed to the THD offer from Red, and I have the same type of socket as the one shown in this topic: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-33484647-prise-fibre-optique

I received the modem as well as the mini TV decoder. In the manual, it says to connect the modem to the Data output of the wall socket, but nothing is indicated on my socket; how can I know which one is the correct one?
Thank you.

Hi,
It's when you have a TV socket for a cable receiver but you should have had a technician come to set it up.
Not for Red?
It doesn't stop you from trying that socket, you have nothing to lose.

Thank you!
Apparently, there are no moves planned with RED; I am registered as a "Self-install" user (the apartment is already functional). This is probably the case since I saw a Numericable box working in this apartment, but I hadn't paid attention to the connections...

I will try both outlets; we'll see what happens since I received a text message from Red indicating that my offer is activated. By the way, how can they know which line to "build" given that the address is the same for 8 apartments and the old number wasn't recognized when I subscribed to the offer?

Have a nice Sunday!

There is no connection between the phone number and the cable internet; it is not a phone line.
The only thing they need to know is your box's ID to authorize it on the network.
