Hello,

I just moved into a place where there is a data wall socket installed in the living room, which looks like this:

I want to connect my TV to it, and I brought a traditional cable that normally goes from the antenna output to the TV input of the triple socket wall plates, but now I have to deal with this data socket. Is there a solution in your opinion? Is there an adapter available? My TV is a 32'' curved Samsung.

Thank you in advance if you can provide me with any information.

Tom

    Hi,
    ouch,
    what's with this rusty junk?
    Which country are you in?
it looks like some pretty damaged F sockets (were there floods in the apartment?)
Anyway, it has nothing to do with data, it's originally analog TV, via satellite or cable, but with SFR/Numéricâble, it could also be internet access, check for eligibility on Ariase or Degrouptest.

I took a sample photo from Google Images, but the socket is new in my case; it's just the same, which is why I borrowed it. Otherwise, I'm in France.
Specifically, is there a particular cable that would allow me to use this socket to receive channels directly connected from the TV?

Thank you for this answer, is this type of cable called F-IEC?

        Absolutely,
after checking for male or female, especially on the IEC side, the F side always has a male connector.
