Your version of Apache OpenOffice has been outdated for quite some time, you should update it.
But I would rather advise you to switch to LibreOffice which is updated more frequently and has many additional features.
It is fully compatible with Apache OpenOffice and is just as free.

LibreOffice is the best alternative to Microsoft Office. It's not for nothing that LibreOffice is the default in nearly all Linux distributions.

LibreOffice is more reliable and regularly updated; having used both, I've noticed the difference.

yclik I never said that Apache OpenOffice was no longer relevant, I said that its version (which is 4.0.1 because currently the most recent is 4.1.3) was outdated and that otherwise there is LibreOffice which is more up-to-date and includes more features. You need to stop with your little feud between Aoo and LO.
