Hello everyone,
I broke my television screen by dropping it about ten centimeters onto my speaker. As a result, I have two impacts and the whole screen is streaked with red and yellow lines, the rest is completely black (I like Lens, but I still prefer TV programs ^^).
So I wanted to know, since the TV is only 2 months old and has never been subjected to shocks before, whether it would be worth changing just the screen (I haven't been able to find spare parts online) or if I should buy another one and sell this one for parts since, according to what people say, it’s generally worth quite a bit?
For your information, the model is 40FA3113 from Thomson,
it’s still under warranty for a long time.
Thanks in advance for your help, have a great day.

Hello,
Well, there's no need to beat around the bush... you can buy a new television because you won't find a replacement panel anywhere.
On the other hand, if you go through THOMSON's customer service, since this "impact" is not covered by the warranty... yes, the screen will be replaced, but it might cost you almost as much as a new TV.
Otherwise... regarding selling the television for parts... you can try, but I don't know if there will be many buyers.
Sorry.
Have a nice Sunday (anyway)
