Software update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with Kies

Hello everyone,
since I've had my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3), it won't update the software and tells me: try again with the computer software KIES or access the Samsung service center.
So I tried with KIES but it can't connect to my tablet!
What should I do?

Hello

There are several models of Galaxy Tab 3, so which one? GT-P5200-5210 or another? Moreover, if your Tab is running Android 4.4, you should install Kies 3 and not just Kies.

It's a SM-T210 running Android 4.4.2.

So, would it be better for me to install Smart Switch or Kies 3?
