my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 won't turn on anymore!! :( Solved

Question

I've had my tablet since Christmas 2013, and yesterday I turned it off because it was lagging too much. When I tried to turn it back on, it just shows the Samsung logo as if it was going to reboot, but it's not, and it stays stuck on the Samsung logo. So, what can I do to turn it back on!?

I had the same issue with my Galaxy Tab 3, I tried holding the ON button for much longer than 30 seconds with no result. In fact, after calling a computer-savvy friend, the tablet went into safety mode because we continued to use the tablet while it was plugged in.
Remember that the charger provided with the tablet is not powerful enough to ensure both battery charging and tablet operation. SO ALWAYS TURN OFF THE TABLET TO CHARGE IT.

There is a tiny hole to the right of the power port. It is for resetting with a very fine pencil tip. Be careful to do this WITHOUT THE CHARGER and vertically FROM BOTTOM TO TOP so that the tip doesn't fall inside if it breaks. It should be extended about a centimeter from the pencil and pressed gently.
After that, PLUG IN THE CHARGER AND CHARGE FOR A FEW HOURS BEFORE RESTARTING THE TABLET.

where she's at, it's impossible to restart her, but a solution is available to you.

You will need to turn off your tablet and then turn it back on to access recovery to perform a wipe data/factory reset; check online for the procedure, and that's it :)

The tablet is off, do this...

Turn it back on by holding the "power" button until you see it start up normally, it may not work on the first try, so repeat the operation 2 or 3 times...

On this device, the OS can "freeze" at startup, so you have to "force" it a bit...

If there's no result, the solution of removing the battery may work by unclipping the "back cover" with a knife or a very thin tool...

Hello, it is possible that it works like this for me:

to the right of the charger slot, about 1.5 cm away, there is a small hole (really small), there you can insert the back of a small needle (really the back) about 1 cm in, you push gently, you will feel a resistance, you hold for 1 or 2 seconds and theoretically, it should turn on.

It worked well for me.

There is a small hole of about 1mm, to the right of the charger port or elsewhere depending on the models. Insert the back of a sewing needle (or a 0.7mm or 0.5mm pencil lead) into this small hole until you feel contact. Push it in about 1 to 2 cm and hold it down for about 2 seconds, then remove the needle and plug in the charger. Normally, you should see the gauge indicating the charge appear. Charge for at least 2 to 3 hours minimum.
