I have had this phone for several years, and it suddenly went into "lock" mode!
I have no idea how to unlock it, which is very annoying because I am elderly, have a heart condition, and live as a recluse in my forest.

I think the keyboard is in "locked" mode
Keyboard lock of the
handset
You can lock the handset so that no call or setting can be made. You
can answer incoming calls, but all
other functions are disabled when the keyboard is
locked.
To lock the keyboard, press 8 (middle
programmable key) for about 3 seconds.
the "key" icon appears.
To unlock the keyboard, press 8 (middle
programmable key) for about 3 seconds (key icon disappears) let us know if it worked and then (if yes) mark the subject as resolved thanks -

Lol, this is not a cabin! But it's true that there are no neighbors, and I have to go 4 km just to buy a loaf of bread... along with a few groceries, of course!
I'm not really alone; I have 4 dogs: a huge one I rescued from the streets of Seville, with back legs at 9:15, a pointer bitch abandoned by a hunter, a small white dog with a gouged eye, and recently, a little scruffy thing that was tied up day and night by a crazy person... CE0470? It looks more like a certificate number for compliance with European standards than a phone model number.
Is this phone a cordless one connected to a standard line or a router?
Panasonic's phone references usually start with KX....
What is the exact reference of your device?
