Hello,
I'm reaching out to you because the orange-red light on my PC (an Asus F200MA), which corresponds to the battery, is constantly blinking (about one long blink every second). This light stays on even when I plug my PC into the power source... (whereas normally, it should remain solid).
There is no difference in the blinking whether it's running on battery or plugged in.
When my computer is in sleep mode; it's the same thing.
When it's turned off; the blinking stops (which seems logical).
I saw on this same forum that some people performed a manipulation by unplugging the battery, starting the PC, etc. The problem is that my battery is not removable.
I don't know what to do to resolve this issue. That's why I would like a kind soul to help me find a solution.
Thank you in advance.
PS: The computer is no longer under warranty.

Good evening,
In my opinion, there is a problem with the battery... and in your case, since it is not removable!
Otherwise, leave the laptop solely on battery and use it until the battery is completely drained.
Reconnect the charger... check the charge percentage from time to time... if the situation does not improve, you will need to go to a technician who can better diagnose the problem... 3 things could be at fault... the power supply... the battery... the power regulation circuit of the PC.
Sorry, I can't help you more.
Have a good evening

Alright, I will apply that. And yes, if the problem persists and there is really an issue with the battery, then I will contact a repair technician.
I will keep you updated.
Have a good evening
